About Jitendra
I am a hybrid User Experience and Product Designer with 15 years of experience in developing digital consumer-centric products and Design Thinking approach in an Agile/Scrum environment and participatory design & AB testing of various user research methods and approaches in problem-solving and understanding the product ecosystem. I also have experience in mentoring development teams from building, scoping and setting definable key results to releasing final products
I am passionate about Usability, Accessibility; Research-Based approach to problem solving and create design value for the user.
I am a proponent of the User-Centric, Research-Based approach to problem solving and design. In recent years, I have been working in the roles of UX Strategy and Design-Leadership.
This website is where I showcase some of my work and write about life as a Designer, UX Professional, and amateur photographer.
My work is entirely based around user-centric design separated into three: discovery, design, and testing.

UX Strategy
Thinking the bigger picture. Identifying user-needs & pain-points. Defining the goals and vision of a product. A well-researched UX Strategy helps improve the User Experience across several touchpoints of a product or service.
UX Research
Primary and Secondary, Qualitative and Quantitative research go hand-in-hand. You cannot create a design informed only by the analytics. Researching with real users help build useful, usable, and delightful products.
Usability
Usability is the most important aspect of a good User Experience. Without a usable product, no amount of cosmetic UI will improve the experience. I use Usability Heuristics and Cognitive Walkthroughs to measure the usability of a product in addition to doing User Testing
Accessibility
Access to information is a human right. I have been passionate about Accessibility from very early in my career. I am a proponent of designers paying attention to General Accessibility (Contrast, Readability, Semantics, etc.) and WCAG Guidelines.
Usability Testing
I take joy in seeing the users ripping apart the initial designs because it helps me design something better in the next iteration. A product design without testing is just a visual design created with assumptions.
Design Agile
One cannot put a designer in an engineering Agile/ Scrum Mind set and call it a day. Managing a design team requires defining the design workflow, review process, and hand-off methods. A good DesignOps helps orchestrate the processes and flows of a design team so that working together is as fun as it is productive.
Information Architecture
Content Organization is Design. A well-organized, categorized content makes the design coherent and makes the UI Design much easier. IA is an integral part of the design process.
UI & Interaction Design
Whether it is low-fidelity wireframes or highly polished Visual Designs, I have been designing digital products since 2005. The design is incomplete without a prototype that shows how it should work. I can also develop functional prototypes using HTML and CSS that provide guidelines for every interaction and animation.
